So....crazy morning today. Let's see. Gamed till hella late last night. Fun was had by all. Details to come. This morning around 9ish, I get a call from f8n_begorra. He goes "So...where ya?" I look at the clock. Shiznick my alarm didnt' go off! I race through my morning routine (sans shower which I hate doing but in a rush. I brushed my teeth though, which is good). I tried to do this while not waking up Violet, who was in bed with me (we shared the bed and cid_hildas had the sofa). Raced to the library. Got here. f8n_begorra looks at me and goes "Oh, I just got your message. What about your doctor appointment?" I stare blankly for a few seconds.
OH SHIZNIK!
I had made a dentist appointment the day before. I called and left a message at the library saying I was going to come in late. That's why my alarm didn't go off! It was scheduled to ring later on! I TOTALLY forgot about the dentist appointment! I quickly jolted outside and called my dentist and left a message saying I wasn't going to be able to make it, since I was already hella late to that.
So yeah...when Robbie woke me up, my mind instantly raced to "I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date that pays!" Didn't even think about the appointment. Violet looks at me and goes "Why are you up so early?" I go "I'm late." I think she was trying to remind me in her own sleepy way. Ah well, kudos for trying kid.

Given that our last chronicle was an amazing series of stories, character development, and action, cid_hildas decided that we should make the story into an anime. It had very anime-esque traits, and it made sense. The coterie decided that if any of us ever one the lottery, we'd hire an animation crew to draw at the very least the opening to the chronicle, complete with a theme. And here it is. cid_hildas has a very powerful (sometimes overactive) imagination. this is his baby.  A lot of it might not make sense if you're unfamiliour with the characters or the World of Darkness or the Age of Sorrows, but hey, I think it's still a good read....

 As some of you know, there's a song out there Dolfo, V and I refer to as "Our Song", a song that we basically picture as the opening theme to Johns last chronicle. I've basically had the ideas of what it would look like in my head for a while. So I finally got around to writing that out. Let me know what you all think.

Wow. I forgot how easy it was to upload pics to my blog from flickr. This is fun! Another coterie pic, this time with us cocking our eyebrows. See, whenever Darrien became suspicious of someone or something, he would cock an eyebrow. This became a running gag and whenver we suspected anyone (including ourselves) we'd cock an eyebrow. Um..you had to have been there....

Finally The Coterie is revealed in all their glory! from left to right, toop to bottom, we got :
Xander (Cid Hildas), Anders (Molly Actor), Violet (Sim Hildas), Darkshifter in my Marvel T-shirt (Johnny Z), Stuart (Darrien Arcturness Croft), Dave (Gavindar), John (GOD...er, I mean, GM), Dustin (Jest), Brian (Timmy), Lorenzo (Marc Ansel). We played this game for the better part of a year. We laughed. We cried. We screamed POWER and STUFF! Fun was had by all. And I anticipate more fun will be had next chronicle. Did someone say EXALTED!?
Oh, in case you're wondering, those hand gestures actually mean something. Before we had access to time magik, we needed a signal that would inform us when to JUMP someone! This included a dove cooing sound. Don't ask....

The Setting: Just ouside the borders of Texas.
The Characters: The armies of the Sovereign States of America, The Camarilla, The United Nations of Europe, The Qui-Jin, The Fae, Lupines, and Mages. Basically...the entire world's greatest powers. Oh yeah, and who's leading them all? The Coterie.
The Setup : After gaining control of the entire world through the use of manipulation, subterfuge, and few well placed charms, the coterie gathers thier forces together to fight The Void. They were currently in the SSA, talkiing with the humans there when a supposed Ally had betrayed them. After destroying his every essence a serious of nukes were discharged, about to kill millions of Americans. Thanks to some good rolls and an empowerment, Johnny Z was able to divert the destruction, the death, the damage that the nuklear bombs would have done and sent a safe distance away. Though the people were saved, a portal to the Void was opened. And the gathering began in earnest.
