Open house on Saturday, February 13 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The apartment is located in the SF neighborhood known as NoPa (North of Panhandle), surrounded by cool bars, coffee shops, independent food stores and near Alamo Square and The Independent. It is a great neighborhood with three major bus lines nearby (The 5, 21, & the 24). A 13 minute walk to the Castro (I’ve timed myself) and about 10 blocks from Golden Gate Park.
The room is large, with three windows, a small storage loft and high ceilings. The apartment is 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom. I’m a fairly mellow, easy going guy who likes to host game nights with friends on a fairly regular basis and tends to lose himself in a good (comic) book. But I am respectful, quiet, and get along pretty well with most folks. I’m looking for someone who is fairly neat (I don’t have a white glove, but do like to have the living room be presentable for guests), open to sharing the household chores (bathroom, dishes, etc), gay- and chinchilla- friendly, and who is responsible and on time with rent and utilities.
Rent is $850, Utilities run around $50 a month, a bit more in the winter. Deposit is $850. Room is available March 1st.

Everyone please welcome the newest member of my household: Chapulin! Choppy for short. I'm hoping he'll be happier with me than at his old place, where he was in a walk in cupboard by himself all the live long day. Long live chinchilla.

I gave my mom and dad the option of what I should wear: a polo short sleeve (which i assumed they'd choose) or one of the lantern Corp tshirts. My dad picked the star saphire shirt...the purple one. I don't get my dad sometimes...
My mom just said that she wants me to wear the red lantern Corp shirt (rage) later for a family picture. So odd...
